We have brought our over 30 years of providing cutting tools and abrasives into the engine machine shop.  Our parent compny provides engineered cutting tools and abrasives to the automotive and aerospace industry in western Michigan.  We have gone through a 2-1/2 year testing program on finding the best CBN grade for light milling of cast iron.  We've specifically focused on diesel applications as they are the most difficult to machine.

It is our intention to bring the latest technologies from the cutting tool and abrasive world into the engine machine shop environment.  We are in the process of testing CBN inserts for the NEWEN CNC valve seat machines.  We will probably have two grades - one for powdered metal seats and one for ductile iron seats.

We also supply solid carbide porting tools for 5-axis CNC cylinder head porting.  We build tools with up to 6 flutes.  Time is money - let us design a tool to help you to reduce cutting time.
