Newen Fixed Turning CBN Inserts
Performance CBN now offers a full spectrum of INSERTS and PILOTS for the NEWEN CNC Seat and Guide Machines. We currently have grades for Copper Infused, Ductile Iron, and Powdered Metal seats. We offer four insert materials, three base sizes, and three tip or truncated single tip.
When cutting copper infused seats, our CBN inserts are the insert of choice. Our PCD and Cermet inserts are also available for specific custom applications. We offer 3 base sizes, with three tip and truncated single tip.
Most modern OEM cylinder heads utilize powdered metal seats. Our CBN and Carbide Inserts better for this specific application.
Most aftermarket replacement seats are generally made from heat treated, ductile iron. Our CBN and Carbide inserts are recommended for these applications.
