When we tested our CBN inserts on diesel heads we found that in most cases the inserts are misapplied.  Customers called and complained about short life and chipping using their inserts.  In almost every case we find the customer is feeding too slow.  We coach the customer by providing a "CHIP THICKNESS CHART" for their particular machine.  With proper feed rates for their depth of cut insert life is greatly increased.  Let us work with you to improve your tool life.
